The Primary HRIS Debating Team training sessions are for students in Years 5 and 6 who have been chosen to represent SCAS in the HRIS Debating Competition. These sessions, held on Monday afternoons during Term 3, are designed to rigorously prepare students for the competition, which evaluates their skills in constructing and presenting logical arguments on a variety of topics. Participants will engage in focused practice sessions that emphasise teamwork, critical thinking, and strategic debating techniques. This program aims to build confidence and enhance each team member's ability to articulate their ideas clearly and persuasively. The program ensures that each student is well-prepared to perform at their highest level, representing their school with excellence and poise in the competition.
