Description:

The Secondary Chamber Choir is an elite, auditioned ensemble dedicated to excellence in choral music. Open to students who demonstrate vocal talent and commitment, this ensemble focuses on the rich tradition of classical repertoire. Members are regularly involved in performances both within the school and the wider community, showcasing their skills and passion for music. The repertoire spans over 400 years of choral masterpieces, providing singers with the chance to be challenged by some of the most exquisite works ever written alongside contemporary compositions. The choir requires a high level of dedication, with re-auditions conducted each year. Students interested in joining must first be part of the Senior Choir, ensuring they are well-prepared to embrace the musical and collaborative challenges of this group. Participation in the Secondary Chamber Choir not only refines vocal technique but also fosters a deep appreciation for the art of choral music.
